I started making music in 1990 with the well-known Amiga 500, 600, and 1200, and you only had eight mono tracks to create anything.
So I started from scratch.
After three years, I started DJing in bars and cafe and in disco's, but during my time there was an explosion of emerging DJs and talent, making it difficult to get in.
There was also a lot of music being released; it was a really big deal.
Now I've woken up again after 20 years and am fully committed to sharing my inspiration again.
I hope to make music soon because that's really my thing. Love you all.
From a teenager learning to play keyboards and spinning tunes, to a well experienced electronic dance music centipede...

For over 35 years I have been active as a professional DJ and producer.
My site shows a survey of both all my DJ/producer activities as well as a music composer and compiler.
During the nineties the house scene was my DJ/producer working field, until the end of the 20th century I was often invited to perform especially as a deejay of classical events and parties.
During the recent decade I have spent most of my time working as a composer and producer of house music. I sometimes switch to he lounge/chillout music scene, although house still remains the core actvity of my business.
For years on a row I have been compiling music playing lists for renowned clubs, resorts, hotels and (star) restaurants together with a colleague of mine.

Meet Frenz Cook, hailing from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Drawn to the art of DJing by the rhythmic beats of dance music from the States and the UK in the 80s, my journey began with inspiration from illicit radio broadcasts in The Hague, Leiden, and Amsterdam.
Transitioning from those clandestine beginnings, I eventually hosted my own Dance program on a local radio station. In 1992, I embarked on my first DJ gig, immersing myself in the pulsating world of dance.
From packed clubs hosting 900 visitors on weekends to a decade-long stint as a resident DJ, until 2009.
My hiatus lasted until 2016, the allure of my passion proved irresistible, prompting a return in 2017.Currently, I blend vibrant summer house vibes with a techno edge, seamlessly incorporating deep house, soulful beats, deep funk, and the chill ambiance of beach house.
Join me on various streaming platforms and catch my live performances at restaurants and, come summer, at a beach club here in the Netherlands.
